I’m sorry for the lack of updates lately but I have been really busy with other projects. That`s no excuse however and I managed to do some things for this Blogging Experiment as well. I did purchase 500 manual directory submissions for $10 at Digitalpoint which is one great way to create backlinks for your website.

I also managed to write a few articles to get them indexed, not as much as I wanted to but I`m in no hurry. There is one problem thought that I encountered, it seems that my site is in the sandbox for the terms Baby Phat and Baby Phat Shoes which means that it`s going to take some time until I rank well for those terms.

I`m however ranking pretty well for several other keywords already which are directly related to articles that I have written, take a look at the new website ranking table that I have created just a few minutes ago:

I`m ranking rather well for the terms Baby Phat Footwear (24th), Baby Phat Sandals (15th) and Baby Phat Sneakers (36). The site has not been optimized for them yet and I think I will create special pages for these to further improve my rankings.

I have not been indexed yet in Yahoo or MSN which is not that bad, it will happen over time. I have to change my strategy a little bit because it could take six months or more before I can rank well for the selected search term Baby Phat Shoes which is obviously more than the three months that I calculated. Sandbox can happen though and it is nothing to worry, just something to sit out.
