Since I became a Problogger I noticed that I was not getting as much exercise as I used to get when I was working out of house and blogging at the same time. This was only natural because I did not have to leave the house anymore to do my work. This does have some advantages food wise on the bright side. No need to eat unhealthy food when out of house anymore. I used to order Pizza, Chinese Food or other types of Fast Food when I was eating out of house and this has changed because I can eat at home all the time.
So my nutrition became healthier. On the downside my exercise went on a downside and I created a plan to help me keep in shape while working from home. I do play football once a week with some buddies of mine but this is not enough, I need regular exercise. Here is what I do.
I walk a lot. This may sound funny at first but consider this. I could take the car or drive by bus to reach my destination or I could walk the way. This only works for destinations that are not to far away or require some type of transportation to stuff things in that I buy.
For example, the central station of my town is roughly 2 Kilometers away from my house. Instead of taking the bus I walk to that station and I also walk back home. This is not only great for my exercise but also gives me time to think things through. I can think of new projects, new articles that I want to write and ideas that I have.
Even if I do not have to go out of house I do. I do it at least once a day and walk a few Kilometers which is good for my health and mind. And my body seems to like it as well. I used to feel terrible after sitting in the chair in front of my computer for ten+ hours getting only up to eat and drink.
That’s not healthy at all. Besides the walking I do some basic exercises at home. I do 2×20 push ups every day, 3×20 Abs and one exercise to strengthen my back. Nothing pro here but it’s good for me and that’s what counts in the end.
